Does It Hurt?

Me got a operation on my arm today, well hopefully it will take place, kinda scared... has anyone had stitches before? :(

ME IS SO SCARED!!! Even though it's just removing a small lump out of it... they dunno what it is.. but wish me luck guys!

I want someone there to hold my hand!

Can't drive my car for a couple of days with my arm in a sling..

Youll be fine, after a broken wrist, broken toe, fractured collar bone, dislocated toe, a burn, and stitches just below my eye (not all incedents at the same time!) the stitches hurt the least.......

In fact they didnt hurt at all. :D

Good luck, nowt to worry about, just think of s*x, or shopping or whatever takes ur mind of it

More than likely a harmless fatty cyst (or should that be armless!) :D

Nothing to worry about, most likely done under a local anaesthetic to numb the area, whip it out stitch it up and away you go.

When the anaesthetic wears off it may be a little sore for a few days, just keep it dry and clean, stitches out in 5 to 7 days and back to normal.

Thank you everyone, i got it at 4pm this evening, gulp, so not looking forward to it, i have to have injection to numb it then start chopping into my arm, then stitches

When i heard what was going to happen i was nearly in tears and shaking like a leaf...

Plus i will obviously be awake for it

Well i hope i don't faint ... hehehe.

I had all my toes stitched up once

Why did u need to stitch ur toes? Yikes sensitive part of the body i guess... sounds painful just thinking about it...

i had a fully loaded fork lift truck park on on foot and my toes sorta exploded

and crunched and stuff.

Believe me, as long as you are given a local when they start stitching you'll be fine....

Just dont have the muppet I had stitching me up after I had Lucy, decided to do it with no local at all, after 3 stitches I yelled at him

Think the stitches actually hurt more than giving birth!!!!

Rach i guess giving birth is a pain that u cant explain and heres me crying like a baby in a little stitch, but to be honest i wouldn't like to give birth and having stitches down the privates, that's !Removed! painful lol.

Funnily enough, giving birth wasnt painful, it was the 2wks after where it felt like I was sitting on glass as they had mucked up the stitches and I had to have them removed! I had a grand total of 18 stitches done down there tho, so wasnt too bad in comparison to my friend (she had to have 79 stitches )
