when i had my hernia i had 15 industrial staples in groin:- i never realised coughing hurt so much!!!!!!

yeah he did stitch on the dissolvable ones closer inside, but not the dissolvable ones on the outta, looks like a big scar is to come, trying hard not to move a muscle in it, aint feeling no pain just yet, night time will be uncomfortable i guess.

I've got peas in the freezer (I don't like peas, just got them for injuries and hangovers)..

I'll be over in 25 .. but they may have melted by then, and luke warm peas .. dunno how effective ..

starletsr your lucky at the minute i have a large! (10cm long, 4cm wide, and 6cm deep) open wound at the base of my back from surgery! just keep downing the painkillers and anti-inflamatories :crutchy: its so annoying cos it itches and i cant scratch it!

Yeah i can imagine the pain ur going through, mine is stinging, but i also have a itchy part where i cant get to under the bandage, so annoying...
