this maywell be incorporated into the airbag sensor ,disconnection is unwise.

maleborn is correct on this one. The seatbelt sensor is tied to the airbags. Not recommended, but if you do disable the sensors (in the seatbelt receiver end) than be sure that you are always wearing the seatbelt as the vehicle will think you are and activate airbags accordingly. The seatbelt sensors are not wired the same for the driver and the passenger.

If memory serves (it usually doesn't) diconnecting the wire from the driver seatbelt sensor is correct and shorting across the wires of the passenger seatbelt sensor will give you the desired result.

Also, should you deside to open (again, not recommended) the seatbelt receiver end be aware that it is a pain in the ... to open and then worse to close. (NOTE: Careful of the spring which can easily pop out on opening.)

Jarszu:

My understanding of Polish is minimal, but doesn't that site suggest that instructions to disable will be sent upon payment? If so, what the heck does he send? An email telling you to insert a spare buckle?

Hey, I could be totally wrong on this one.

Let us know,

Jason
