The fault turned ou to be the Turbo Actuator assembly, which was leaking. The work was done by Marshall's Toyota at Kings Lynn, who I cannot praise enough.

The amber light is a fault light, so you will need to get hold of the fault codes for this vehicle.

At a guess I would say that it's a boost sensor or a split hose around the turbo.
