Overheating Colorado

I have a 1999 Colorado diesel Auto and it always overheats when i go above 70 mph, it qucikly cools back down to normal running temperature when speed is reduced. Can any one tell me what the problem is?????? :)

Have you checked the Viscous fan, if it's not working properly this could cause those symptoms, also give the rad a flush out and fit new thermostat and rad cap.
