I've Got My Yaris Back.

Do you may remember an earlier post regarding my accident?

Well I got the Yaris back after driving a Rental car (Renault Clio).

I found the Yaris very clunky and loud I felt a bit sad to see the nippy little Clio go.

But I soon got back in to my Yaris. It’s a lovely car.

I looked under the bonnet I saw that they had completely changed the slam panel not just the one section but the whole thing.

I'm sure that it is a different type to the one that was fitted before. They fitted a bigger radiator fir some reason, even though mine was fine.

One more thing, they even changed my number plates which were fine, now I have the crappy GB EURO plates.

I just find it funny that the front end under the bonnet looks different.

Things to do tomorrow:

*Fit Chrome Grill

*Fit Yaris brake light decal

*Try not to wreck the Yaris

Regards Lenry

Glad to hear you've got it sorted dude.

Sounded like the damage was quite bad judging by the first thread you put up. :o

The brake light decal - is that one of those off eBay?

I spied that the other night, and it looks quite cool. Mentioned it to Steve and asked if the TOC did anything similar.

Let me know how it looks! :D

Just also noticed you're local.

Yeah the decal is the one from eBay.

I ordered one about three weeks ago, it comes in a big envelope.

Someone threw the envelope away as they thought there wasn't anything inside. :crybaby:

I had to order a second one, which I kept a close eye on.
