Being a 99, this is the VVTi model, which [apparantly] isnt as good as the pre-98 cars..

Still, looks lovely, and TT RZ, cant go wrong really..

Not heard that about the VVTi - anyone else shed light on this.

BTW - spool times will still be the same won't they ?

The VVti lump looks quite different!!!!

I thought the 2JZ-VVti setup worked well??? it was in the soarer where the VVti engines were not as hot, as they cut them down to only having a single turbo!

I'm probably wrong though :D

Car looks nice!!! are you not after an aero??

The late spec mk4 headlights look a million times better... they don't look as bulbous and odd with the black back ground

It also gets 'REAS shock absorber system' - whatever that is

I saw an aero but it had a V kit which put me off.

The VVTI drives better than the older cars. It pulls harder in the midrange, also the ECU is better mapped to control the sequential system. The only downside is that the VVTI requires slightly more expertise to tune to very high levels (i.e. single turbo conversions).

REAS is some kind of active/adjusting damper system.

Very nice looker - So is the LEX gonna go to make way for it?

Gotta lose those wheels though..........

No the Lex is staying. I'll probably change it for the new IS oil burner in 18 months or so though.

The soop is actually more (well quite a bit more) than I want to spend which is holding me back a bit.

Ideally I want something round the 9 mark but must be TT, Auto and blue or black.

Not that it matters now, but the 1st thing it says on that link is that its a 95 model, so its pre vvti anyway?

Year: 1995 M not 99?
