261 Citroen M35's were produced with an NSU KKM 500

865 Citroen GS Birotors were made with a KKM 662 Engine in them

Does that not count as production then????

I guess so, maybe Citroen is a correct answer

Just thought is the answer Comotor or Comobil??

Q 2.

audi 100 and rover 100?

rover 200 and nissan 200?

opel and vauxhall both had the calibra(if we are doing european stuff....)

merc 400 and rover 400?

(my brain hurts....!)

:)

audi and rover - possibly (not sure when 100 production stopped)

The nissan was the SX200

opel and vauxhall are the same company - it was the same car!

the merc was a E400 or S400...

I'd say the quiz isnt 100% correct as i agree the Evo AYC was a good possible answer and looks like Citroen could have been an answer to the Rotary question.

Anyway i've posted the answers now so you can decide

1. Mazda - NSU - FSO

2. BMW 323 & Mazda 323

3. Simca

4. Ssangyong

5. BMW 7 Series

6. Citroen DS

7. Engine Orientation - Evo 1-3 Engine is mounted with cam end to left and Evo4 onwards is mounted the otherway around with cam on right. I only noticed when i found a picture doing a google image search.

For #7 I would say the introduction of AYC was more significant than the orientation of the engine (considering it was still transversley mounted)...

yep - send some complaints back

Can't find any info on a Rotary Powered FSO

 I know FSO used Rotary engines as there was one that used to be parked down the road from me and said 'Rotary Powered' down the side

I didn't know Opel bought Ssangyong?

I know Daewoo did.

Only reason I know that, is because my old man used to have a Musso.

As well as Norton, Suzuki also made a Rotary engine, which is still in use in some of the CCM motorbikes. ;)

Oops. Must mean time for my next appointment at the opticians...

:D

Didn't know they took them to court either.

Nice engines (being Merc), but let down by some poor finishing. !Removed! slow too. 0-60 in The Musso 2.8 Diesel was a staggering 18.9 seconds! :D

by the way - i checked - the BMW 323 wasnt released until 1998...

and guess what - the Mazda 323 production stopped early 1998...

so it could be wrong there :D

no they havent...

they didnt do one until 1998 - before then the choices were 316, 318, 320 and 325.

It wasnt until 98 they introduced the 323 and 330 ;)
