Should be finished by tomorrow.

Yeh I thought it would be expensive!

Chrome paint for the body-work is something like £120 per litre!

I do know a guy who could do it though. I wont need his services anytime soon though seeing as my savings account is about as lively and full as the Abyss!

(Is that spelt right?)

Brilliant!

It'd look great in a dark metallic midnight-blue with blacked-out tail lights and black 5-spokes or something, anf tinted black windows.

Proper custom Executive!

i am thinking of this copper colour from the avensis or a bmw red looks a bit orangy in some angles.

im think of doing all red rears, and smoked front head lights. and i have scrapped putting it on coilovers and am going to save up for an air ride system for the right drop on the wheels :D

dont want to do any tints as i am going all out on the interior, so i dont want to hide one of the best spots

anyone know what colour the avensis copper colour is? really liking but i think it will clash with a brown interior, too much brown.

UPDATES:

right guys cars not gone, just i have forgot to update the thread for al long time

been busy with the inside of the car, DO I HEAR YOU SAY LEATHER? lol

For any of you who want to get rid of your tacky grey a,b and c pillars, headlining and much more, i have done a guide on how to do it.

got to work on the A pillars:

things you need:

A material that you fancy (can get it any shop in material shop)

Very sticky glue (evo stick is good )

Mum's hanging pins

patiants (need alot of that)

now i will shut up and show you pictures :P

EDIT: If you are wondering why i am using mull some mullgrips on the on some of the bits is because, i had to over lay 2 layers to the each other. And the hanging up pins arnt strong enough to kepp it down.

1st spread out the leather, and measure up how much you need for the pannel you are doing.

11082009215.jpg

2nd: cut out the material to size

11082009216.jpg

3rd: clean the pannel with a de-greaser (clean off the dirty and oils)

4th:apply glue all over the front of the pannel, do the same to the other side of the material.

5th:Stick it!

11082009217.jpg

12082009218.jpg

12082009219.jpg

12082009221.jpg

its not hard at all im 14 so if i can do it, im sure anyone can do.

all comments welcome :)

cheers
