Poor Reversing Lights

I have only had my rav 2 weeks but I find the illumination given off from my reversing lights to be poor and insufficiant for what I need.

has anyone done anything to improve this. ie. uprated bulbs for example ???

I have the same problem with my 2003 Rav4. I don't think it helps replacing the bulbs with something that is more bright, because the reflectors are so small. don't know about the 2009 version though.

I have seen a lot of Rav owners that have mounted a small but bright auxiliary light underneath the rear bumper. This have been my plan for 2 years... don't know what happened. :rolleyes:

I never really noticed. If I want additional light I switch the rear fog and hazards on.
