Engine Management Light

Hi all,

My wife has a 2003 corolla 1.6vvti estate and has just noticed the engine management light illuminate on the the dash. Could anyone explain what this means? Do these cars have a common fault. The car drives perfectly normal with no engine problems, so i was wondering if this light indicates a common fault or could it be any number of faults. Any help would be appreciated. :)

could be anything lad, the light indicated theres a fault somewhere and if the cars driving perfect its even harder to find the problem, you will have to bring it to your local toyota dealer and get her trrown on the computer to get a fault code
