aye, wouldnt wish the experience on anyone! ever!

on a fun factor out of 10, i rate it a firm -100. lol

still, learn from your mistakes and all...... my recent bump (van man at fault), springs and filter clearly noted on my policy, no such nasty issues! instead i have the joy of dealing with a half repaired car and the wrong number plate on ze front! hahaha. hassle, but WAYYYY less than january the 14 2004..... ah that dates imprinted on me forever! :( boooo lol

well its had 3k spent on it, so the majority of it is fixed.

from memory....

front bumper sprayed

half te lower plastic replaced

new wheel

new tyre

new shock

new front subframe

new wishbones both sides

new wing

repaired + resprayed door

fixed electric window

new sump

oil/filter/all associated bolts/gaskets/seals for the sump.

new arch liner

new indicator lense.

theres probably more but im stil lawaiting the full list to be sent to me.

problems still outstanding, whichim a bit annoyed about.....

new indicator lense is cracked.

wingmirrors is nackered - mechnically and the paint

they missed the rear end damage - got clipped by the van after front impact.

stereo displays busted.

missing locking wheel nut cover.

other half of lower front bumper is scuffed to hell and need replacing too.

and they put hte wrong plate on it.

they have since delivered a new number plate, with the correct details on it! i cant fault hte paint/repair they have done. but the blatant ignoring of all the other issues is very disappointing. the wrong number plate took the biscuit though. effectively leaving me with an illegal car.

well thats a lot of money? are you paying for it or isnt the insurance covering it? was it your fault?

and the service is disappointing as they are meant to be professionals and do everything perfect first time, and the number plate what a bunch of idiots

hope it all works out though

incidentally mate where did you get the t-sport alloys from? i've been after a set but have been unlucky so far and don't want to buy wheels from the breakers which have been in accidents.

here are some alloy wheels which you might be interested in

it cost me £30 to get the spoiler sprayed by a body shop which is ok i guess, and yes the washer still works and water does come out

iv got a 1.4 petrol corolla with the same K&N and iv not seen much difference in MPG on motorways id say its slightly higher (nothing to go crazy over) around town probably a bit less... maybe thats due to me enjoying the sound of accelerating though haha

personally i would say that my car has improved MPG slightly if you drive around normally compared to before but if you accelerate hard to hear the beautiful induction noise then obviously it would drink more :)

hope that helps

ChrisRuffell - i do the same, accelerate through the town to hear the noise and get some attention aha :D
