Ive had a look and im gonna fit one, as ive seen inside my manifold an its minging, it'll be coming off for a clean soon.

Once you fitted your catch tank clean your throttle body and flap.

how do you take the manifold off for a clean? and yeah i will clean out the throttle body once i can get the thing off the actual nuts are so tight :(

Your manifold would be different to remove, but best bet would be have a good look for the bolts and any brackets.

Im not sure where to fit one yet, going to get another look next weekend.

a quick update in the engine bay

not finished yet as i still need to sort out the cold air feed and put on the heat shield but overall looks better and sounds much nicer for some reason

Indeed it looks great. very tidy and just in the right place to get an air feed.

Is it mounted/strapped/screwed somewhere on the engine bay so as to avoid vibrations?

well i haven't strapped it down yet but there are no vibrations or noises, i still haven't finished everything so will look more into that

yep i have put some metal or "aluminium" intake piping in now to improve the look and it sounds better but i don't know if that's because of the metal piping

heat shield still needs to go on and also sort out the cold air feed pipe

well i bought my spoiler off eBay aswell but the member i bought it off doesn't have any more for sale from what i can see on their profile so the best thing to do is look around for more and make sure that they are either TTE reps or genuine TTE spoiler

update, well more of a random pic

plans are to install the lowering springs that i have, just waiting for the weather to improve so im guessing that's after Christmas in the new year :)

also get this sticker after having it lowered...i don't know why but i want them bad

also fit the heat shield on to make the engine bay look better and it might reduce some heat soak through the filter but im not sure
