Poor headlights using HIR2 bulbs confirmed?

Optiwhite=Philips Xtremevision. They are just standard HIR2 with 1875 lumens like Osram, Hella (£8 in amazon). The factory bulb is Philips Longlife LL 1340 lumens but last 4x longer (2000 Hours).

So, you can fit Hella for £8 in Amazon and it is as bright as Optiwhite. Otherwise, put high quality LED although it is not approved by MOT. So, do it at your own risk. Most LED in online market are junks. So be specific on good units (v35, v45, gtr ultra 2, Lasfit LSPro, etc. ).
