Just looked up the Blackvue, I have a couple of knockoff copies that gave good results.  I suspect Blackvue use a common case and different electronics.  One of my cameras like that had a superb 170 deg fisheye.  This covered down to the steering wheel and gear shift.  Good for showing what you were doing at the critical moment.

Does the Blackvue record and display the full analytics, speed, G, GPS and map display.  This works well with Nextbase.

Ideally with Nextbase you need 14 days storage on the card, the time between an alleged speeding or traffic light offence and the NIP arriving.

Do private parking companies also have to notify within 14 days?

Yes. The G sensor sensitivity may be adjusted as can parking motion detection. I have the G sensor reduced to minimum because otherwise  every little bump on our wonderfully smooth, non potholed, roads is recorded and saved as an "event".

I choose not to have speed recorded but do have my registration plate embossed on the image. Blackvue Viewer or their app. needed to see recordings.

Speed data might be hidden in meta data.  It would also be possible to calculate speed from frame rate; not as accurate and depends on knowing the distance travelled.

I checked the following link.  The short answer to my question is "maybe".

Which doesn't change my preference not to record (show) in the video.

@Roy124 It can take up to a 128gb card. This is what we have fitted to our 380GW.
