Thanks for celtic music + dire straits dave really enjoyed, been working some pretty strange hours so not been able to contribute, but will enjoy listening

there are some great Mark Knopfler tracks as well Cheers Mate :thumbsup:

Seen Knopfler (with Dire Straits) and then a few weeks later Clapton play gigs (I think they were both in Sheffield), many many years ago.

To be honest the Dire Straits gig was a bit disappointing, it was too clinical, too perfect.

Eric's not exactly animated but you could at least tell that he and his band were having fun. :D

Have to agree, saw Dire Straits at MCFCs old ground, MKs a brilliant guitarist, but his voice on occasion particularly live, leaves a bit to be desired. :rolleyes:
