Have purchased a 1990 supra with bad brake judder, have been informed it's not the wheels, discs or pads but maybe some sort of sensor! Has anybody experienced the same problem or know of the solution.....cheers

Are you sure it definately isn't the pads? They may have become contaminated with oil or something or even be the wrong type.

It is usually a cheap component and easy to replace and beneficial anyway so may be worth a try.

Just to reiterate the above! I have had this on my '89 model. It definitely was the pads. I remember posting an image of the "new" pad where the fibre material was separated from the steel pad support backing. There was a 30º angle between the brake material and the steel backing. It was as if a lever was stuck between the material and backing through 1/2 the width of the pad and levered it away. The guy from the parts place was miffed. I got a seal kit for the calliper (both sides) and stripped and cleaned them both out. It was a tricky job to get the new seals and ribbed bits back together. Any -hoo this terminated the problems. The calliper pistons do suffer. Especially if the car has been laid up for any period of time. I check mine every 1000 miles or three months. It is a simple job and worth doing to prevent future disasters. Remember these are heavy and very fast cars. You need your brakes to be at optimum performance.

Hope this helps
