Old fashioned sherbert lemons or Rubarb and custard-the sweets not the cartoon. :)

Mind you I think maybe this thread is being sponsored by a Private Dentist.

I was at the shops earlier and there's a new thing out - Galaxy Dark ( think it was called ).

I'm assuming it's new - never noticed it before. Didn't buy it, but maybe next time I'll get some and report back !

And you lot thought I'd forgotten !

( doing this LIVE - without a net or anything )

Galaxy Smooth Dark.

I have on my desk a 125g bar of the above confection. It's described as 'the smooth galaxy way to enjoy dark chocolate - deeply smooth, intensely delicious and not at all bitter' on the back.

Right, just opened it and it smells good and chocolatey. Nice and crispy as it's been in the fridge for a couple of hours too.

And the verdict - fairly good.

I've always liked dark chocolate. Not decided if it's as good as something like Bourneville - the bitterness of Dark Chocolate is part of the taste sensation. People who aren't that into dark chocolate will probably really like this - it's good but a tad disappointing to a chocolate purist like what I am !

Good, thanks. I'll know to avoid it. Even Bourneville is too sweet now. I think they changed it without telling anyone

If you really like black bitter Chocolate you won't beat Lindt 85% Cocoa, as I said before. Try Lidl or Aldi's range. It is very good too & a lot cheaper
