hi, you can fit an aftermarket CD/mp3 player in the slot ,its a tight fit but it works,you may have to sand down some of the grey plastic surround to be able to pop the front on and off your new system easily though.Most modern car audio systems have RDS and EON it means Radio Data System and Enhanced Other Networks .1 point
