  1. Hi Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself since I'm the newest member of this site. I recently bought a one owner, low mileage mint condition 58 Avensis T180. I'm hoping to chat to other Avensis owners to exchange experiences and tips. Happy motoring

  2. I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. And that I extend my wish to 5-door diesel engine RAV drivers is probably affecting my principills. Of which I have many. I am aware that in the past year, our charity has had several gifts of money via paypal, and auction sites. Unfortunately I have failed to thank those people personally or at all. I wasn't bevvied but have had a number of distractions in my year - so for those that have helped, then thank you! For those who haven't yet helped, there's still time. 9 days in fact! As the gales are threatening RAV4 owners garden fences we have a large stock of timber being sold at the cheapest prices. If you wish to buy some, let me know with some advance notice so we can post it using our homing pigeons...as we need to ascertain the direction of the gales. Wouldn't want the stuff ending up in Norway! I would also like to wish our oil-burning friends that 2014 will bring down the price of diesel! Having just paid 69p a litre for diesel, the government have a lot to answer.

  4. I presume those are the ones. Sorry i dont know what size the bolts are. I wish i had known i still own a very decent socket set and torque wrench. They dont come out to play these days too busy with life and children. The days of me playing under trolley jacks and axle stands are long gone until i buy an old car again

  5. The chain-cam 2.2 TD unit in the Civic is generally thought to be one of the most reliable in the trade. Probably the reason for this could be down to the fact they don't use a DPF.

  6. Brake light switch replaced over a month ago, £16.95 from Ebay. Easy to fit yourself. As it was an intermittent fault didn't want to update this post until I was sure. All clear since replacement, Whoo Hoo!
