  1. I took the wheel to wheel works in crawley who were very helpful but they say because the the wheel is bent on the front rim edge it is beyond repair..

  2. I do like the Wolfrace Assassin rims, a good mix of black and silver which would compliment your colour scheme.

  3. How is it broken, cracked or bits missing? Just wondering if it could be repaired? I recently had a set of wheels refurbished by Wheel Works in Crawley and they did a fantastic job and they also do repairs. My wheels are similar to the top right image you posted but in silver, wheels look far better in silver... ;) Craig.

  4. I feel your pain with wing mirrors, had trouble with mine last year due to some twit actually hitting it twice. I ended up being able to buy a new one painted in the same colour as the car, cost £72 but was worth it as stick on glass wasn't working. Have a look round on Ebay, you can choose to look for UK only ones, or email Parts King on here.

  5. I have had my K&N panel filter in now for a couple of thousand miles. So far no issues and it did make a difference to the pick up of the car. It's the first thing I always do to replace the OEM Filter to one that will let the engine breathe better. As for oiling the filter all you need to do is make sure that you do not over oil it. Good luck with which ever way you decide to go. Sent from my iPhone using Toyota OC

  7. Toyota (& lots of other auto companies) in the US have said that their warranty doesn't cover E15 usage. I agree. I wouldn't want to use 10% let alone 15% or more. But they say it's possible. Now what long term damage is done to the engine is certainly debateable. I guess it's the same as running a 1970's British Leyland car on unleaded. Sure it would run, but would slowly melt your valve seats away within a few thousand miles. Personally I'd rather use less 100% petrol than have all the nonsense of 5% ethanol for environmental reasons, yet the ethanol can cause more environmental damage in habitat loss etc. But that's another argument.

  8. I do find the Shell V Power to be a good fuel. I think with everyone so focused on price these days, the petrol companies don't put as much cleaner or other good stuff in their normal, Premium 95 unleaded. The more expensive 98 octane Super unleaded is more, but does seem to run cleaner. Having suffered with a blocked EGR valve at 75k miles (not the IQ) on a petrol car, I try to stick with 98 octane when I can.

  9. There is one thing I have learn't Its that the 3 cyl 1.0ltr IQ performs differently dependant upon the fuel used, lots of facts and debate about different types and there potential effects (positive & negative). Shell V Power seems to work best for me, that I am beginning to realise ! Before I owned my IQ I did not bother what fuel I used in all of my previous and much larger engined cars, now because I am focussed upon getting at least 60 MPG from my IQ it has caused me to learn just a little more about the subject. So my thanks to all those of you on this forum that have since educated me about the various aspects of various fuel types !
