As the car is ex-Motability, if fewer miles have been undertaken in any of the previous years, the reason could be down to the previous user's health condition (ie. been hospitalised or being unable to drive for a period). It may not be indicative of clocking.

Is the seller a dealer? If so, explain to him that to move forward with the purchase you want these MOT advisories acted on. Meaning you want the corroded brake pipes replacing, and the rear tyre replaced and four wheel tracking done. A good dealer would do these jobs to clinch a sale. If its a private sale, getting the car checked over professionally is an option, getting quotes for the work is an option, knocking big chunk of money off the asking price is an option.

2010 2.2d T - Spirit purchased last monday. 134000miles, service history but has been abused. Cracked bumpers, needs new front pads n discs and 2 front tyres...otherwise very pleased with it for £950

The brake vacuum pump can start making noise. Mine was changed at 180tkm when toyota service would have done it on next service (195tkm). Cost me ~450€ with the price of the part included. And just so you know EPB is one unit for both rear brake saddles. So if saddle jams still you can get away with just saddle change. There is two wires coming from EPB unit. Unit can still work as it is but wires can break and at they say that all has to be changed as a unit. 950€ in Finland.

Have had this car for over 10 years. It's comfortable, reliable and well made. Occasionally it needs some TLC.
