I can think of three good reasons that Toyota should do this for free. 1. Customer relations. 2. The environment.  It's surely not a good thing that the gas is leaking out so readily. 3

Certainly unusual for sure...I would hope that even given any warranty issues/arguments, the dealer...or Toyota, will sort this out to your satisfaction.

All cars with ac driven by belt and Toyota hybrids electric ac compressor , I noticed it turns on and off without green light been illuminated . Not Sure its because of the seals, how seals will dry out, that's non sense and typical car myth similar to warp brake disc etc
