leave services around 09:15 - sould be at Silverstone around 10:00

Keep your speed down - Loads of mobile speed camera's were spotted last year

Both of ya - I'm up for the 0-60 if you want... I ve only got 215bhp at the mo, but I have been told to take it easy for the next couple of weeks.

Can anyone bring the TOC banner beacuse it would be nice to get some pic's of us all at south Mimms. :group-cuddles:

all sounds good mate. will meet u lot at mimms at 9. will bring camera but i dunno who has the TOC banner. i think steve may do. if he does i'm going down his way at the weekend and will pick it up

and don't worry. ur running 90bhp more than me

with cameras, the motorway should be fine, but once off the motorway keeping speed down is a good idea. mite borrow my uncles road angel as that way we can tell where the cameras are

id hate to think what my 1/4 mile would be i know a 275bhp astra took 19.11 on the new max power free dvd

thats crap aint it.

the quickest i've done was a 13.2

but that was when it was at 262bhp.

i reckon i should get a 13.0 or if i'm lucky a 12.9 with my extra horses.

that astra should be getting low 14's

I may have a spare space beside me for the 0-60 as my mrs has bottled out, just as long as you hold on to my Digi Cam and film to short trip..

Hope to have my own web site up and running by Christmas.. so I need loads of footage of nice rolla's and other nice toyota's.

I will see who turns up at Ipswich Tesco's on the day, previous years there were around 80 - 90 motors ( Scoobies - Fords - the odd Saxo :ffs: ) I will get the word around to meet at South Mimms to all the other drivers .

the quickest car on the dvd was a moster new shape 5dr rolla with a tuned gt4 lump with a garret turbo pushin a moster 635bhp alone!!!

1/4mile in 12secs!! Beat a twin engined nova (2 calibra turbo lumps) and a aston martin!!! Now thats a car

thats fensports Corolla, it has a MR2 lump; the very same engine as mine. but it does have the gt4 running gear. hence 4wd. B)

:D You could have had my old engine 4AFE, but it has already been taken away.

Should have enough flames to B.B.Q any left over Mac D's. to show up the Scoobies

One last thing, don't bother to shine your motors until you get there, I managed to collect a couple of thousand bugs on the front on my motor on the way to Billing. well gutted because I spent hours pollishing it that morning. :ffs:

if anyone is after optimax then theres one near mimms or one up there

Yeah i washing it before hand but polishing once arrived.

That make the bugger shiney or make the bugs shiney one of the two. lol.

Is it safe to mix high octane and normal unleaded, daft q i know but my car has never had high octane in it and would mind giving it a bash.

matt, what do u mean by high octane? do u mean optimax? or super unleaded?

yeah one of the two either opitmax or super unleaded.

Which is better?

Is there any issues in mixing them?

Has anyone tried those fuel additives you can get that clear coaking?

well i mix optimax and normal. all works fine for me. optimax is probly better.

fuel additives like hot shots are good but arent the same as the decokers. but hotshots are good

the thing is that i sometimes give my car a bit of a pasting and just want to make sure that its always running sweet.

Cool so some hot shots and opitmax will make the car a bit better then.

Can you feel any difference?
