  1. Take it from somebody with first hand experience of Toyota wans and "aftermarket" .........the aftermarket efforts were utter pish, and could be mis-shaped by a kick. Try lifting the Toyota steps, never mind kicking them........more than double the weight with totally overkill cast steel brackets. Believe me........some wee aerial thief or similar will try to play Elliot Ness on yer sideys, and the cheapos will bend.

  2. I have big problems with young people not having any respect. They turn everything into a tip in a very very short time. Essentially, they are very lazy people. Would rather spend time trying to fit plates with left overs on under their bed than take them downstairs where they were going anyway. I particularly take exception to the lack of care to electrical items like headphones and remote controls. I know a girl that has had 7 pairs of headphones in 4 months through ripping the cables out, standing on them, shewing them. Remote controls have either battery covers missing or broken through keep on opening and closing them whilst viewing. Also broken power sockets on laptops and keys having been picked off, leaving 2 sheets of toilet paper on a roll because its too hard to walk 3 paces to get another one and drop it on a storage pole. This is my experience from children/adults 14-22 Sorry for being a bit of topic but just had to coment David

  3. My Yaris is a 2003 bottom of the range 3 door S. This is the Peugeot 205XLD for the noughties. It weighs 10% more than the 205 but has 25% more power and 55% more torque. I have owned mine for fifteen months, it has a full dealer service history and everything works on it. My fuel economy, calculated on a tank by tank basis is 65.25 MPG with a best tankful of 68.33 MPG and a worst tankful of 59.91 MPG. With 73 300 miles on the clock I expect many more years service from my little red roller skate.
