I can't believe they are that hard to find it's a prettty generic bulb that has many applications in various makes and models. I keep a tool tray with old bolts, nut, relays, bulbs n allsorts from cars that may one day be handy who knows. I replaced several of the heater control panel bulbs in my old 1.8GS with odds n sods bulbs i'd picked up, they came out of the instrument display panel of a Cavalier or a Primera or possibly an Audi 80 coupe i'd. robbed of it's oil temp, pressure and volt meter. Point is if your having trouble locating them and you don't mind an afternoons hunting you'd find replacements from another toyota or nissan probably down at a breakers yard. Obviously you can't test if they work or not but if they're black don't take them and if you can find 5 or 10 then you're bound to have some that will work :)
