  1. "I do know you can get steel wheels from Germany that have all the correct pitch circle diameters, all the holes line up if any of you want to seek them out on the net, failing that look at.." I have already linked to 17" steel wheels from Toyota UK (which are actually reasonably priced) ... ;)

  2. You should have done a good 40 mpg on that run. 32 mpg on mine equals130 kph on the autoroute fully loaded with a roof rack. Find a good diesel injection specialist and have it checked, you could guess and change fuel filter , injectors all sorts and still not get it sorted,. On local stuff mine will do mid 30's. Tony

  3. I have a 2011 SR D Cat Auto Diesel and the mpg is shocking. I struggle to get the mpg odometer to get above 28 mpg, which was more or less what I was getting in my Lexus RX. Just NEVER believe the manufacturers figures, they are totally rubbish. No doubt you will get some feed back asking about your driving style, whether the car is serviced regularly blah blah blah!!! So if you want good mpg, buy a Yaris, obviously no use to you driving where you live.

  4. Not easy to find but information is in your owners manual but no Not under Capacities nor gearbox but under "SPECIFICATIONS" which is listed in the alphabetical index. For Gearbox Oil in a 2010 manual it's page 652 and for a 2012 it's page 737, but just in case anyone has not got a manual, Petrol & Diesel engines use the same Manual Gearbox oil, Toyota recommends "Genuine Manual Transmission Oil" Specification is API GL4 SAE 75w Capacity Petrol 2.4 Ltrs Diesel 2.3 Ltrs. Hope this saves a few of you doing a long research on the web getting nowhere. All the Best, Mel Tinys Taxis Ltd Hitchin.

  5. You are still getting pretty good figures. 44-50 mpg in winter conditions and short journeys it's not bad at all.

  6. Hi Windinherhair I am currently trying to find the exact same wheel as fitted, I contacted these about a wheel and they did have one left but the condition was poor for the £80 they wanted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-TOYOTA-RAV4-2-2-DIESEL-NSF-DOOR-GLASS-BREAKING-CAR-FOR-PARTS-/201485767243?hash=item2ee97cd24b:g:Se0AAOSwZ1lWcGND If I manage to source anything surplus to requirements I will certainly post the details up here.
