  2. There are usually a few iQ's being broken for parts on ebay so you could try one of those and see if you have any luck. I tried it once on an interior panel and they tried to charge me £50 plus VAT on a part that cost £35 from the dealer so not always the bargain you might hope for! Mark, On a higher vehicle like my old Range Rover when you hit a puddle water not only shoots out the side of the tyres, a large amount of it goes forwards. In a Range Rover this normally means you then drive through the water you have kicked up from the road. It was very common in big puddles to get the water up and over the roof obscuring vision! I'm guessing the spats on the iQ stop the water going forwards and obscuring the lights. Craig.

  5. Sounds to me as though the supplied blade isn't the correct one for the Aygo.

  9. looked at your photos in the first post, and if you follow the video it will fit. You just need too swing the fitting around and slide it into the loop on the end of the windscreen wiper arm... Simples

  11. Ok guys I have them too, it's a company from Poland. Nice and good quality stuff. There is double sided tape on top of deflectors which will stick to rubbers. Also there are metal clips with small hooks which will remain attached to the rubbers. On top of that the deflectors are pretty tight fit, so they won't be falling off. In order to install front ones you even need to bend them in order to stick between the rubbers. Only downside I have noticed is when washing with pressure washer and aiming under the deflector, the water gets in and there is small line on the inside when the water drop goes down. This is not happening when aiming only above the deflector and water is running freely down and washing the window at the same time. Oh and when drying the windows you need to lower it a bit in order to get it dry and also dry the inner side of deflector as deflectors are pretty low profile. If you're interested to see the installation process please see this. Here is how they look on my car. I used polishing machine and metal polish paste in order to remove the "Team Heko" texts from deflectors. They are engraved and painted so it took some effort :D

  13. Three things to consider. 1. Try removing the central plastic bit from your new wiper and use the same old plastic thing from the old wiper attached to the new wiper instead and try hooking it. 2. If you cannot get the plastic thing out from your new arm, try hooking the metal wiper arm hook without trying to thread it throught the hole in the plastic thing as in your first picture. Push the plastic thing down and just try to hook the arm around it rather than through that plastic bit. 3. In the worst case scenario, keep the old wiper and change the rubber strip from the new wiper to the old wiper.

  15. From Dunfermline you could consider going through Stirling and using the A84 and A85 to Crianlarich (where you join the A82). Tends to be a bit quieter than taking the A82.

  16. Fitting You New Wiper Blade An adapter connects the blade assembly to the windscreen wiper arm. To remove the old blade assembly: 1. Pull the end of windscreen wiper arm outward to move the arm away from the windscreen. Take care not to let it spring back against the windscreen. 2. Press the tab on the adapter to release the adaptor mechanism. 3. On all standard windscreen wiper arms: Maintain pressure on the tab while pulling the blade assembly downward to slide it out of the recess, or hook on the wiper arm. Then follow the video, note how the fixing goes in to the arm....
