  2. Thank you frostyballs. Hi uncle buck, yes I do find it a firmer ride to previous cars but I don't mind that, I had a Honda typeR years ago and that was still comfortable even after long journeys so I'm hoping the Auris will be the same! I'm not sure the lumber support is working correctly so I'll try it again soon and if no luck I'll take it back to the garage. Fully agree with the engine, I would have thought being variable value it would have had some poke in the upper reuse! But there again if I want some fast acceleration I've still got my bike!!. But all in all I am happy with the car! Reliability is my main aim these days :-)

  3. It's been a while but I changed both of mine without removing anything. I might've used pliers tho, I can't remember.

  4. A rare but not totally unseen fault, on Pre Facelift MK2 Yaris the door lock mechanism can start to seize eventually resulting in a door lock that will not unlock when required, the fix is a new modified door lock assy' and most of the time a new door trim panel as well, as if the door is locked shut the only access is by forcing/breaking the inner door trim to access and force the lock to open.
