well...

thats nearly 24 hours without a ciggie... and i feel great!!! :D

but need to last a little longer before i start shopping for the next car....

that said, i worked out, if i lived until i was 67 (likely) and ciggies stayed a £5/20 (very unlikely), then i would spend £73,000 on smoking!!!

So, assuming standard increase rate, if i didnt stop smoking, i would spend somewhere between £100,000-£150,000 on cigarettes over the next 40 years!!!!

scary stuff, glad Im now a non-smoker

OMG!!!

Just did an on-spec quote for a supra, cos i do like them...

3.0 Twin Turbo (UK) auto... 75 quid less than the 350Z...

sooo tempting!

So just to find a black/blue one with leather and reasonable mileage..

So is this your final answer? You went 50/50 by taking out the Audi TT, Celica, 350Z etc, you asked the audience (TOC) and i'm sure you phoned a friend. :)

esprit mate

why look at a 350 when the 300 beats it?

why do manufacturers release cars that are supposed to be fast, but not as fast as their predecessor?

nope...

think its gonna have to be a 350Z...

and looking at the used prices, it makes more sense to buy a brand new one and have to wait a few months than paying the same price for a used one i can have now...

urgh, descions!

WOW that skyline looks nice :drool:

Looks like they have gone for the more sleek look rather than a power bulging monster!!!

okay...

heres the update to the constantly changed mind...

350Z - another 3-5000 of these will be on our shores by the end of this year.. so i can see the 'sustained' value of these dropping quite significantly.

As such, now would be the worst time to buy a used one.

So I think i will leave it for the time being...

Supra - a possibility, need to give it some more thought and get an insurance quote for an import.

Elise - its am itch i need to scratch, so ill probably try and get a drive in one just to see, even though i know its not practical enough

TVR Chimera - i know, i know, but i love them.. and it does have a nice big boot

So anyway, the decsion has been made.

I am going to stick with my IS until:

a. a UK Supra TT (in Blue) comes along

b. I decide i need a 350Z

c. I go for the TVR just because

d. they release the mk2 IS (and i like it)

Go for a Nismo 350Z forget everything else, that Skyline is not really a Skyline it was built to fill the gap left by the outgoing R34 it is an automatic not very hardcore stopgap until the all new Skyline arrives in the next couple of years.

I have got an write up in Jap Performance mag with both and the 350Z is the car to go for!

okay...

the one i missed off the list, but the one that just wont go away (and was one of my dream cars...)

The TVR Chimera 4.0 V8 convertable...

I can afford a 98/99 one, and it will have about 30k on the clock..

Can insure it for what i was paying for the IS200 when i first got it..

I always wanted a TVR for the V8 grumble

Full leather interior, fast as :censor: , uses the rover V8 so it will be reliable (sort of)

:drool::drool:
