For all those impatiently waiting fir their new Yaris Cross - just noticed my car is now showing as "Build in Progress". Ordered 10th January, with expected delivery still showing as 30th May ( with any luck thus may be slightly earlier now)

😢 for those of us who ordered in 2021 and who are still showing as ‘Order processing’. Glad to see that your order has progressed though as it gives me hope that mine will soon…

Just noticed that the Premiere launch edition has disappeared from the Toyota website and latest version of the brochure.

Makes sense. The equivalent edition of the Yaris disappeared after the first year, in France it became "Style", and became the top level fully loaded version. I'm sure there'll be an equivalent Cross.

Has anyone ordered a Yaris cross with panoramic roof, and if so was there a long wait? I’m beginning to think this is what’s delaying mine.

Here in Greece, if you order any Yaris cross today, you will have to wait 14 months for delivery.

Ordered Dynamic with panoramic roof on 10th January. Started to build last week - delivery date down as 30th May though.

Must be the AWD then? If you can work out the order of build on these your either extremely clever or need some sort of help!!!😵💫😵💫

Brian it must be easy.

Look at all the major options then guess an order batch.  Let's guess 10 roofs, a truck load of paint, a load of whatever.....

OK Fransois, next 10 all red with panorama roofs then.....

PS, I forgot left and right.

Thinking on this basis I need to prepare myself for a delay. My eta dealer is showing as 25-05-22 but not yet in build. They could be on different production lines in the factory though of course.

Would not give up hope yet - mine is still showing build in progress and not scheduled to get to UK until 28/4. Thought they only took 15 hours to build in factory 🤣. And why it will take a month to get from Port in UK to Perth....

Although it may only take 15 hours to build, then it stays "in the factory", 5-7 days before going to outbound logistics.

Sounds too good to be true?

Just check it very carefully that it matches your order exactly.

Could be someone else`s cancelled order ?

Hi. New to this.

Ordered mine 13/10/21 Dynamic, AWD, Pan roof, and haven’t even got anywhere near a build date. Waiting for a VIN from dealer to track it. I’ve been told end of June??? i’m wondering as Toyota didn’t expect the demand for the AWD they are waiting for that part instead of the shortage of chips? The mind boggles.

My AWD ordered 24th Sept. went into build a couple of weeks ago - now in Zeebrugge awaiting loading onto a car carrier - would have liked to change the order due to lack of space for a spare in the AWD - was told 7 weeks ago it was built Hmm ! Not true ! My delivery date has slipped around 6 weeks from the starting one - now 22nd May

Probably best to let the paint dry a little.

I had a new car delivered to order, and I kid you not, the paint was still wet.  In the boot was some mastic sealant that had been sprayed.  It was still soft and pliable. It had come from Sweden to Cyprus.

Hi to everyone, I have been reading all your posts since I ordered a Yaris cross excel on the 21st of November. I took delivery from the dealership on the 12th of April and I am very pleased with all aspects of the car so far. The fuel economy is excellent and it drives really well i have driven about 450 miles, mainly town and country lanes and looking forward to seeing how the fuel economy goes on the motorway.

Once it shows in build on the app, once it moves forward to the next location, if it then indicates it is back at the previous location you vehicle is about to move on to the next.  E.G. indicates it is at Zeebrugge then returns to the factory, it is in fact moving to Grimsby.  Mine did this each time it was about to move on to the next location, it would indicate it had gone back to it's last location.

Yep !  Mine has just done that - got to Zeebrugge and now back at factory, so assume it's actually either on the way to Grimsby or even there already. My delivery date has gone back from 23rd May to 11th May

Sorry if i sound a bit thick but i assume you’re taking about the MYT app and if so how have you got a link to your vehicle?? I have a MYT app for my land cruiser it ask’s add vehicle but then ask’s for either a VIN or registration which i have neither, so have I missed the point somewhere???
