  1. It's actually quite an old term in 'internet land'. Like most Internet slang the meaning is a bit vague but grumpy's quote pretty much sums it up. Basically a ***** trying to start an argument. Not sure when it first came about, but was certainly already a common term on Usenet when I first started using the Internet in the early 90's! (Ahh those sweet modem handshake sounds ), and apparently was in use on BBS' and things like fidonet before the 'proper' Internet started to become more widespread.

  2. I have had the same issue with my T180 seems it was the seals behind my lights and the 2 air vents behind my rear bumper ... touch wood all seems ok now. Have to say that "bullet" hole ... how weird is that!

  3. When I last looked at this, HIR2/9012 bulbs produced approx 75% more light than standard fit halogen bulbs. HB4/9006 bulbs will fit after a tab is cut off the base. HB4/9006 bulbs are available in upgraded versions like Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited (110% more light than a standard halogen bulb), and, on the face of it, may give brighter lighting than the HIR2 bulbs. http://www.amazon.co.uk/OSRAM-NIGHT-BREAKER-UNLIMITED-Headlight/dp/B00FQ8ANTE/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1417132102&sr=1-1&keywords=9006+bulbs

  4. Could always send Parts King a personal message giving the part number Lee got for you to determine the price - probably get a bit of discount as well.

  6. Not the way I read it, the poster did not have a 2AD engined car did he? There must have been a good reason for it being refused.......like not being part of that campaign, IE, not the affected engine well, the car drunk 1 ltr oil every 350-400 miles. It was a 54 plate 2004 Verso so it was affected. The Toyota service history is worthless, they dident care. Well shows alot, wasted all that money to Toyota for servicing and got nothing from it. Thats a lesson to be learnt, go to independent garage and dont get ripped off.

  7. So after paying for 7 years extended warranty and 7 years of very expensive Toyota dealer servicing when you encountered a known problem you were refused any claim and just left hung out to dry. That's some goodwill from Toyota isn't it? It certainly puts to rest the myth about a full Toyota service history being worth its weight in gold.
