  1. Thank you guys, for this idea with cutting the lamp; today I replaced that boring amber bulbs with white LED ones. They are gorgeous now ! (Sorry for these low quality pics, this is my phone camera.)

  3. I'm also one for having it direct on the screen. Its not my cup of tea.

  4. Had my 2014 Auris Hybrid Icon done a week ago. I got a recall letter to flash the ECU's for motor/generator and hybrid control. Took just an hour. No change to performance. Did not alter my customised settings either. All seems fine. As you were so to speak.

  8. I love the HUD in my Prius, but the thought of a fold out/pop up lens - it's just another flimsy part that can break or get jammed in a few years time..! Much prefer direct on to the windscreen.

  9. No pics because not much to show, but I've modified the 12V plug a little by removing the cap and fixing the iffy connection with my small USB charger. And I've prepared the installation of the car audio upgrade by installing a cable from the battery's positive terminal (with large fuse) to the interior, under the passenger seat where the amplifier will be installed. What needs to be done: - attach RCA plugs to Scosche cable - remove headunit - install 1 set of RCA cables from head unit location to amplifier - install 4 sets of speaker cable to the 4 speaker locations - install 6.5" and 1" two-way speakers (front) - buy 6,5" subwoofer speakers - install in the rear speaker locations

  12. For your Taxi Meter / Taxi Radio / Data head a stand alone feed direct from the battery. 5/10amp is max you will need. Look past the passanger side strut, you should see a gromit, carefully make a hole and this will leave straight behind the glox box. :)
