  1. Today I had my first minor issue. Started the car and moved off the drive, being slightly over to the right meant there was a bump, then there was a bep and ABS, TRC/VSC+, and Caution indicators illuminated. Stopped and switched off, restarted all clear. It seems the bump must have triggered, this as the car was fine for the rest of the day. Has anybody had a similar experience? I am also in the process of buying a decent diagnostic reader/scanner. It needs to be universal as I will be using it on other cars. It supposed to support ABS, SRS, steering and EPB as well as OBD2. Launch X431/CReader CRP129 is top of the list first. Any ideas will be helpful.

  2. It looks like the USB is not functioning. You need to get access to the rear of the audio unit, to see if is connected properly. After that, the worst case scenario I mentioned, the USB circuit has fried! The cable could be broken between USB socket and the head unit. That is not as bad an is easy to replace. If the USB circuit is dead, then you can fit the adapter I mentioned in my earlier reply.

  3. Just a thought - does it have the original head unit? If the head unit has been changed, the USB may have been disconnected for some reason. Picture?

  4. I should really have done an update on the bulbs but no-one really seemed interested in them :( So far they're still working, still the same colour and i've not had any flashes or angry motorists shout, wave or gesture to me, i've also passed a fair few police cars and been behind a couple, so far, no problems. To be honest, they're nowhere near as bright, or as blue as the badly fitted HID kits i've seen on loads of the chav bangers around here, why people fit them into old Corsas/Mondeos/Saxos is beyond me... Toyas looking good Craig, let us know how you go with the bumper :)

  5. Good research there, my friend has a crp129 and it works on my 2004 Toyota and it picked up the srs fault.

  6. Got any pics of the USB socket? My 2012 Auris USB socket takes 8GB and 16GB no problems. Mine:

  8. I reckon I haven't had a puncture in over twelve years (sod's law means I'll get one tomorrow), so I reckon 'll give this 'snake oil' stuff a miss.

  9. Hello, I'm new to this forum, I purchased an 2011 aygo go a few months ago and I'm really happy with it, however I'm rather disappointed with the sound quality, speakers etc... I just need some advice on installing new speakers and headunit, I have the 3 door model so dash and front door speakers, but I was also wanting to put speakers in the custom parcel shelf I have made. I'm looking to spend a decent amount of money for a good headunit and speakers, Would I need to connect the parcel shelf speakers directly to the battery? Do I need a amplifier? What speakers are recommended? Do I need a second battery? And is there anything else I would need? Thanks for helping,
