So I've been playing more and more with my car.... So far I've; tinted the lights, hid dipped, led main, side lights( my own stock ), interior lights, number plate lights, Our own tuning box, Panel filter, De-restricted the air intake egr blank fitted, alloy gators fitted ( my own stock ), started doing all the bolts under bonnet are in the process of being changed for colour coded, started setting up silicone hoses, Bluetooth and aux fitted as well now, upgraded brakes ( black diamond pads, MTec sports discs, Plus a couple of other bits. And some major polish and wax sessions.

The Beta service (as in post 1) is working - I've just checked one of our previous vehicles - https://mot-history.net/ The 'old' site isn't working, as in post 2 - presumably because that has been replaced by the Beta service

if the electrical fails then yes, did he take it off to check? if not I still would clean it first then fork out.

So long as the engine has had regular oil and filter changes, then the chain should last the life of the engine. Only if it is noisy would a change be necessary.

I have found the sat nav on my Auris Hybrid tourer very unreliable. I would opt not to have it as an option if possible and buy a reliable unit from TOM TOM or GARMIN and also save hundreds of pounds
