  Wow what a view from the front window.....Absolutely stunning...Lovely in the summer and even better in the winter....

chatman, every morning I open my curtains to this view and think I'm the luckiest man alive! I much prefer the summer to winter although the lovely clear crisp mornings with snow on the Ben is a sight to behold.

Lomond Lad you really are very lucky that is stunning, did you buy the house with that view, or did you buy a plot and have it built, wife and i love scotland and our retirement dream is to buy a plot and have a small house built, but price of land is outstripping our savings, so it may be a dream never realized,:drool::thumbsup:

just a thought if you put a webcam on your window cill, we can all buy 50 inch plasma screens and live the dream :yes:

You'll have bothy drooling at the thought of putting a ship engine in it.

There was even some pretend snow in London during my easter Eagles weekend. Did you take it out in the snow, er....snowy?

Some very creative photraphy too! Sywy will need to vet the photo!!!

It looks superb mate. Be sure to get Kingos proper fog light kit if you do indulge - it has all the necessary bits and bobs and the lamps are "e" marked unlike some of the eBay imports. I think tey would look nice in that black bumper;

not sure about spots at the moment, the last of the budget is being blown on a pro tint job on the back and rear windows this week. I thought about a DIY effort but by the time i'd bought enough film to do all the windows in the back and probably fluffed it a few times it seemed a waste of time.

My dearest Mr meeks

weel - ye can either buy wan frae eBay or whatever or get wan specially made fur the car. I have had my exhausts made by freeflow up here in Shotts - they only make and fit exhausts to performance cars.

Fitting a rear box tae yer motor will have an effect on the smelly gas flow and breathicality o the engine (see that? New TV sports commentator speak added in fur effect - guid eh - see...no yer normal mug by ony means)

I would get a specialist Jap Performance engine tuner either to do the work, or to recommend a GOOD outfit that can do it. You'll get details by browsing thru the many Jap car mags that exist at yer local newsagent. If yer flush, then buy a mag. Ye'll also see ads on this forum that ye cuid try phoning.

The back box wi twin tails should allow a nice burble or can be tuned to whatever burble turns ye oan. What it shuidnae dae is act as a choke/barrier tae the exhaust gases escaping frae the engine. Ye cuid also consider getting a CAT bypass done as these things don't help.

Tae counteract ony excess CO2, try tae reduce yer flatulence. Methane is far more dangerous tae high flying eagles.

I got a full system done including a flexi pipe at the front manifold/turbo made up custom, for my 3 door which was about £380 fitted - all in stainless steel.

The back box was an offset which I had changed to a straight thru box and that cost me £100 as the tail pipe and rear central pipe needed altered.

So going on this, I'd guess around £150 in stainless. A stock item might cost a wee bit less.

Right, some of you may remember a while ago I ran a poll to decide wether I should get my side protection strips

painted before fitting. Well the vote was 50-50 so I let err indoors choose, and she chose to leave black. Well as you

know the weather this weeks been good and the stuff cant be fitted below 15 deg C so I bit the bullet and fitted this

week.Think its a case of you like them or loath them

well, I certainly don't loath them, but think they would look better colour-coded TBH. They do sort of go with the rear window tints though
