I took a chance and installed a USB/Bluetooth adapter, which was not listed for my car or audio system - W53828. This cost £52.50 free post. After receiving my trim tools from eBay the work began. I found a guide on the net on how to remove the trim to get to the rear of the stereo. First was the top vent then the passenger side trim near the heater controls. After removing the stereo, the CD changer port was empty so I plug the adapter cable in. A quick test with one of my USB memory sticks, and all was fine. I tested another with no issues. I put the unit in the glove box and ran the mic cable from the roof lining. Like any other unit, the display only shows folder, track number time played. No artist or title details like the MP3 CD. Not tested the Bluetooth function yet, but paired one of my 2 phones, so both phones are handsfree. Sound quality is very good and I can change tracks. Very pleased. PS: This unit does not support Apple stuff through the USB cable. Only via Bluetooth! Bluetooth playback using my Samsung Galaxy S3, works well with full control of track changing. iPhone/iPod should work the same.
