I just went on quidco compare, and the premiere is selectable without registration. Best quote is £798 from one call. That's the only quote appearing though. That's with £250 voluntary and £300 compulsory excess. Not protecting NCB of 7 years

Adjusted to £0 voluntary... One call disappeared but 1st central value with multiple quotes from £1133.

Both quotes have £45 cashback on top. 

At £500 voluntary one call reappeared at 769.

Oddly the 1st central still there from 952.

That's the same on many of the other comparison sites but it doesn't mean you'll get a quote from them though...

I'm sorry but I'm not going to start paying outrageous prices like that at my time of life!! Especially when I've been down in the £400-500 bracket with £0 voluntary excess for many years...

Playing with the quote and down to 772. Went through to the one call Web site and quote came through OK. Can't continue without phone number so maybe it would block me on the next page but no red flags yet. 

I know my renewal is going up this year for the Corolla though not by as much, at least last time I checked. That's no other changes other than another claim free year. 

Pain in the ***** for sure, but not much choice unless prices suddenly drop.

Maybe the insurers systems updated today if you weren't getting quotes before?

What I did notice is it's listed as "hybrid premiere edition" on the drop downs I have. If they are doing manual quotes over the phone maybe they aren't looking for the right thing?

That's just ridiculous! I get the feeling that the magic addition of "130" makes it some sort of tuned version when it is only an uplift of some 12% in overall power... sheesh.... 🤯

I suspect the truth is that this one insurer, who I have never heard of, is one of those who usually appear way way down the list whenever you do a comparison and you never take their quote seriously anyway 

Now that one insurer has quoted then the problem must be fixed so this time tomorrow I expect/hope that there will be significantly more quotes to choose from.

I am so shocked by my optimism that I now need to have a long lie down 🙂

Mine is only £480 with max NCB 61 years young and not the safest area for crime/theft.😁

I assume it has nothing to do with BBC Watchdog programme the other day and the associated thread here about it....? Insurance companies jittery until they pin down whether newest creation affected too?
